Frequently Asked Questions
Bouldering is climbing without ropes, knots, or carabiners. It's you, the route on the wall, and your creative moves that get you to the top. You're exercising and solving a puzzle at the same time.
Our walls are 13 ft high and landing is softened by the generous pads.
No. Come as you are.
We'll give you a short orientation and tour of the gym, and let you explore/achieve small bouldering victories at your own pace.
Only climbing shoes are needed. We recommend chalk (liquid or chalk socks) to help with your grip. All of these can be rented or purchased during your visit.
Our friendly staff is available for any questions you may have or for climbing pointers.
We do! We have the following classes:
- Intro to Bouldering for new climbers
- Technique Fundamentals for climbers with the basics looking to improve their skills
Anyone in the gym, even supervising adults, must fill out a waiver and watch the orientation video.
If you are a parent/legal guardian, please add yourself and your children under the age of 18 to your waiver.
The parent will initial and sign the waiver in their name and add the minor(s) at the end of the waiver.
This ensures everyone is staying safe and on the same page.
We recommend athletic clothes that allow you to be flexible.
Avoid excessively baggy clothing as it may get stuck on the holds. Sharp and/or dangly jewelry as well as wedding rings could be a hazard.
If our rental fleet does not have the size that you need (usually for kids/toddlers wearing size 8 or below), you can bring a pair of tight-fitting, closed-toe, clean shoes for the kid(s) to wear only in the gym.
We have a wide range of sizes starting from kids 10 to adults 16.
We do. It is free for members or with a purchase of a day pass/use of a punch.
Please check our classes page for more details.
We recommend advanced registration for Yoga due to class popularity. Registration open four weeks before the start of each class.

Absolutely! One of our goals is to support inter-generational climbing. We have a family-friendly learning area with a variety of routes for climbers of all abilities and ages. We welcome families to explore the main gym as well. Active adult supervision of all children under the age of 14 is required.
Climbing is inherently dangerous. All children under the age of 14 must be actively supervised by an adult. One adult cannot supervise more than 2 children under the age of 14. A supervising adult has to make sure their kids comply with the gym rules and do not endanger themselves or other persons in the gym.
Supervising adults who do not wish to climb do not have to pay for a pass, but everyone in the gym is required to fill out a waiver.
We welcome all ages and abilities. Kids of age 3 and under climb for free with a paying adult.
Some areas of the gym, such as the weight room, are restricted to users under the age of 14.
